Breakfast for Kids. We are raising money this week to buy cereals and soup for the kids at schools here in Portage la Prairie.
Now that school has started for another year we want to make sure that the kids aren't hungry. If you would like to drop off a box of cereal, a can of soup or alphaghetti today, tomorrow, or Friday. We will drop it off with our donation on Monday September 21.
Here are a few things we have in store today.
We are at 446 Tupper Street North Thrift for Portage .
Donations are also accepted between Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Any lightly used household item is greatly appreciated.

Monday august 24th we had the opportunity to meet the great team at Highway Community Kitchen located here in Portage La Prairie. Thrift for Portage was happy to donate approximately $600 in food to help feed the people in need here in Portage. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank both soup kitchens In Portage, for all their hard work, preparing food managing the flow of people and cleaning up after.

Last week we had the opportunity to meet the great team at New Direction, located here in Portage La Prairie. ☺️

New Directions wanted to hold a BBQ at Island Park where we were happy to be able to purchase burgers, chips and drinks for supported individuals living in Portage La Prairie, approximately 140 people attended the BBQ!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to meet the great team at the YOUTH FOR CHRIST located here in Portage La Prairie. ☺️

We were happy to be able to purchase all the burgers hot dogs chips and drinks for there fundraiser at our location. We are excited to have raised over $600 to support YOUTH FOR CHRIST. Check out their website to find support options.

BBQ IS ON NOW AT 446 TUPPER ST NORTH 11am to 2pm
COME DOWN AND MAKE ANY CASH DONATION AND RECEIVE A BURGER CHIPS AND A DRINK. ALL THE MONEY FROM THE BURGER SALES IS DONATED TO YOUTH FOR CHRIST.
