If you’re looking for a beautiful waterfall hike in the qathet Region, definitely add Appleton Creek to your list! Located about a 25-minute drive from town, this trail is especially gorgeous this time of year when the waterfalls are flowing strong.
A large portion of the trail follows alongside the creek, so you get amazing views of the rushing water throughout the hike. We started from the Wild Road parking area and followed the trail past the recreation site and across the new bridge.
The route we did was approximately 7 km round trip, with plenty of waterfalls, forest scenery, and peaceful spots along the way. Such a beautiful little adventure! 🌿🥾💦
