What a special birthday gesture!🎈 Our customers were donating their vases + the wife decided she really liked this one, while her husband came up with the idea of creating a birthday floral arrangement in it as a yearly tradition. They requested an artificial piece so she could enjoy it for the entire year until we refresh it next year!🥳🎉

Last year we filled a special order to mark the 25th year anniversary of our customers’ son’s death; Susan + Bill requested a white daisy gravesite floral hanging basket + we went on to refresh it all summer long for Bradley. We were very grateful when Susan gave us a call this year to continue the tradition - what a privilege to be entrusted with such an important responsibility, as they live afar + cannot visit the gravesite as often as we can. These type of deliveries are the most emotional for me to do, but the most special.🤍🕊️

Can you say.. LOCAL, HOMEGROWN HYDRANGEAS?😍🤤 When we visited the flower supplier this week a local flower farmer was in the midst of dropping off their stock to the supplier - you don’t get fresher than local, same-day-cut flowers.. These beauties are the most vibrant colour, as large as my head + as fresh as can be, so I couldn’t resist grabbing them! We still have a couple stems in the cooler up for grabs, give us a visit or a call to have us create a unique floral piece of your own..

It’s been a while since we hosted a Laurel & Lace • Flower and Plant Shop ✨WORKSHOP✨ - the question is would you like us to plan a few over the summer?🤔🤷‍♀️

Would you participate in.. Weekly summer-long child workshops? Evening adult workshops? Monthly potting nights? Weekend drop-in activities? Flower-arranging, plant-inspired projects, wreath-making? COMMENT what you’d like to see this summer! Don’t forget - we don’t only offer community group style workshops, we also offer private parties where we can host you + your friends/family/coworkers in our shop or come to the comforts of your home/office, or the fun of your favourite venue..
