Today some of your customers received a Valentine's Day email from us by mistake. It shouldn't have gone out, and I'm sorry.
Here's what happened. The message came from a retired campaign on our old email platform. One email in it carried the wrong send date and fired today instead of back in February. While checking, we also found and shut down an older program on the same platform that had sent a few stray messages.
Here's where things stand. Our B2C email has already moved to a new system. The old platform is being fully decommissioned, and we're finishing a sweep to confirm nothing else is queued.
If a customer asks, tell them it was a system error on our end and can be disregarded — you're welcome to forward that as-is. Want something more tailored? Let me know and I'll put it together.
