Some big news to share everyone: our doors will be open downtown for the last time on Saturday, October 16th.
In Fall 2019, we needed a temporary location to redevelop our Seal Cove garden centre. Alison from Four Seasons Flowers was retiring, so we opened a pop-up plant shop without any expectations of what success looked like.
Within our first few months, the pandemic hit and changed everything. Operating a business in the COVID era is an intense challenge. Opening a new business that is heavily dependent on in-person gatherings and special events is all that much more difficult.
For the last two years, through supply chain interruptions, new regulations, and continued uncertainty, our staff have served our community as best we could. We consider this to be an incredible learning experience and are very grateful for the support of our loyal customers.
We know that if we don't close soon, that we won't be in a financial position to re-open when the "new normal" finally arrives.
So our plan is simple: from now until Oct 16th, everything in store is 30-50% off. But don't worry plant lovers - we will be moving lots of our products to our redeveloped Seal Cove location.
Thank you and goodbye for now! Or should we say, "Hosta la vista". This is not once and floral.
