Back when a Toshiba VCR with a 181-channel tuner and its own remote control was a huge deal, MacKenzie’s was the biggest movie rental spot in Rupert — and we were giving VCRs away! 📼

Can you name these three young guys — the draw winner in the middle, the guy in the jersey, and the guy wearing glasses? 😄

Name all three correctly in the comments and we’ll toss your name into our draw for a KING mattress worth $1,300! 🛏️

Share this post for an extra ballot, or enter by popping into MacKenzie Furniture this month.

BONUS QUESTION: What year do you think this was?
The first THREE people to guess the correct year will each win a $100 MacKenzie Furniture gift card! 🎉

After 103 years of furnishing Prince Rupert, we still love giving things away! ❤️

These trips are big, and we’re super excited to be on location at the George Brown Rec Centre in Skidegate!

We’ve brought over a huge selection, including appliances, mattresses in every size, big-screen TVs, sofas, recliners and lots more.

We’ve been going hard for the past three hours, unloading three truckloads and setting up the hall—and we still have one more big truck to unload! Thankfully, we’ve got a great crew helping bring it all together.

You’ll also see Lydia, our regular Haida Gwaii driver who delivers for us week in and week out. She’ll be heading to Masset this afternoon, then delivering pre-sold orders in Daajing Giids and Sandspit tomorrow.

We’re proudly Haida co-owned and have been serving Haida Gwaii for over 100 years.

Come in for no-money-down financing with 32 equal payments.

🎁 Just for visiting, you can enter to win one of three door prizes, including a beautiful loveseat!

⏰ We’re open:

• Tuesday: 1–9 p.m.
• Wednesday: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

Come down and see us!
