It's not a virus and it's not malware... it's simply a rogue notification (full screen pop-up).
DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER!
Also, don't call me either; simply hold down the power button on your computer for 30 seconds or more until your computer has completely shut down. Then turn it back on and it will be all gone.

I just saved you the $50.00 flat rate I charge (FYI: I haven't raised that rate in over 18 years).
Call me when you need an upgrade to your current system, guitar strings, new quality cable for your phone or if you need to buy a new laptop (I offer a 2 year warranty, double what all manufacturers provide... and receive a FREE wireless mouse!).
Basically, call me if you want to SAVE money but ALWAYS reboot your computer before you call, since many issue are resolved with a fresh start.

I've been in the hospital for the last week waiting for surgery on my right ankle. I fell and broke both bones and I will be off my feet for the next 6 weeks or possibly later if things don't go as planned.
Until then I will be working reduced hours and will only be booking 2 appointments a day, 4 days a week from Monday - Thursday.
All retail items including laptops are available for purchase without an appointment between the hours of 10am until 6pm.
All appointments are first come, first served and I'm afraid I will be very strict about this new policy during my recovery.
I use to be easily swayed to do work on weekends when people claimed it was an "emergency" but my health and comfort will be paramount and I won't be making any compromises.
Call ahead to get your appointment. If you just show-up and expect to get something done and I already am booked at that time, You'll have an opportunity to book an appointment for the next available opening.

There has been a flood of scam calls pretending to be the local Credit Union today.
It is very easy to believe the caller and your immediate inclination is to cooperate with the person, they seem to be legitimate and are very smooth talkers. Don't be fooled and don't give them any info, period.
Just a reminder to all my clients that when someone calls/texts/emails you from a financial institution DO NOT respond or provide any personal info, passwords etc period.
Immediately or as soon as possible contact the financial institution yourself to verify if there is an actual issue.
Be careful these days, scamming is a billion dollar industry now.
