We had the pleasure of a visit from children's author E.G. Alaraj this summer! Come on in and check out her beautiful book, My Language is a Garden. It's signed and absolutely stunning. All about the beauty and connection sharing language can be.

"We love books with swears and farts" - a direct quote from a Quadra elementary school reading group a few weeks ago 😂. Why not indulge that love and sneak in some activism lessons, too? 

The awesome kids in "THIS BOOK STINKS!" protest the banning of their favourite fart book from their library! If they get stoked on the change they can make the world the kids book on activism by Naomi Klien is fantastic!
