Busy day today. Finished a few repairs and cut some new stuff.
1. Partial repair on the hummingbird mobile... Changed out a petal on the flower, added a twisted wire arc to connect and a chain to hang this lovely mobile. Unfortunately there are quite a few breaks in the hummingbird that would have cost more to repair than the original cost.
2. Removed a suction cup and added a hanger on this pretty pink butterfly .
3. Removed one of the triangle sections and replaced 2 broken strips on this lovely geometric lamp shade.
4. Took apart a feather with a broken spine and prepped to recut spine.

Finished this nativity tealite burner today. Had to craft supports to make it freestanding and add a tinned brass ring ...

Finished this nativity tealite burner today. Had to craft supports to make it freestanding and add a tinned brass ring to keep the tealite in place. Was definitely more complicated than anticipated when I decided to do a remake on it rather than trash it!

It was a soldering day today. Finally got a few projects finished... my AB flag commission, a business card holder rep...

A other repair bin project... had to completely disassemble and refoil to replace 2 broken pieces.Now to try and reassem...

Working on my "repair bin" ... here's a couple of free standing angels I managed to finish today.
BLUE - thrift store find with corrosion and poor soldering that I redid, new embellishment on the sleeve, 1 wing remover and tinned and degragated mirror base changed out for a clear textured glass base.
AMBER - my creation to use up the extra wing i took off the blue one. Featuring a faceted glass gem for her head, on an amber iridized glass body embellished with twisted copper wire overlay and mounted on a 2" square clear textured glass stand.

Fun class today. Great job Cheryl & Steph. The aqua butterfly was my demo piece.
