Well what a warm long weekend..when is the last time we had one of these...anyways I worked in the studio till it got hot in there too...I whipped up some bookmarks.. still figuring out this new printer and how to make it work with my janome....anyways...enjoy the heat ...PS...if you follow me in my Instagram, I tend to post a little more regular there.😉

Decided to play around in the studio before I head out to the garden and enjoy this beautiful day....printed some art work onto artists canvas...and added some thread...I think I kind of like it!!

I know I've been a bit MIA on here, but I have been trying to figure out how to fulfill so many requests for me to teach you how to thread paint....Now with covid regulations added to it, teaching classes just wasnt a reality ....soooo I have been brain storming how to get these projects to you...well I think I have it!!..if all goes as planned I will have a new line of patterns and kits for you launching in September, just in time for fall sewing....I promise to try and keep you better updated..😉

I finally did something with those drawings, I printed onto the fabric...I have really found a passion for the herbal and garden world. These are 3 of my favorite herbs and will be going in my new "plant room"..aka the one time office lol...

I know...where the heck have I been? ...home like everyone else lol
I've been working on finding my passion again...not going to sugar coat it or anything...I burnt out on the whole quilting thing, if had to sew another 1/4" or applique, I was going to scream...sure I dabbled here and there with art projects...but seriously I gave all( well most of it) my fabric away...and it felt good...
I needed the break and I needed to find what I love again.. and after taking sometime to myself ...and just being me for awhile..finding new hobbies like gardening ❤, taking an online herbal course, yoga......playing with a few new sewing toys and ideas think I have found it again...almost 😄 heck do we really ever got it all together?.. anyways I'm working on some nature themed projects as that is what I discovered I love...and where I feel most at home...will it go anywhere...not sure yet...just let it unfold as it flows....so heres a taste of what I have been doing...I sketched these, 3 of my favorite herbs, and then printed them onto fabric...have a great weekend all..catch you again soon!!!

Hi...in case you missed me I'm back lol..been doing a little RnR..working the real.job and finding a new creative flow...things have changed a bit here,
My studio is now filled with colored pencils, and brushes and yes still have all the pretty threads too...I have also been diving into the world of herbs, making salves, lotions, soaps....I love learning, and nothing better then learning about nature and its gifts... you may have noticed I changed my name (I know again lol)..but where I am in life right now...this fits me..that being said..I wish you a great day..make it a good one....I'm off to color again lol...talk to you all soon!

Just wanted to post this here..its a link to how us sewers and knitters can help with the devastation on the wildlife in Australia..my heart has been breaking seeing those little ones so hurt and their homes destroyed.. I'm planning to spend this cold weekend sewing for them..

Im not this bad anymore...I can honestly say I have not one unfinished project and I no longer have mountains of fabric "I might use"...but when it come to diy house projects...that another store lol...
