Now that the initial release and rush is over, we are posting to say the newest One Piece TCG starter decks are available at ComicReaders Downtown. We sold out out ST31, which is the Luffy deck, and we only have one copy remaining of ST32, which is the Zoro deck. We have multiple copies of the other decks as of today (August 1, 2026).

ComicReaders was a sponsor for the Dungeons & Flagons 7 at Rebellion Brewing Co on Sunday. Chad from ComicReaders Downtown also ran a table at that event. The one-shot written by a local DM featured a scene with a sandworm. Pictured here is the sandworm Chad created for his table.

Since we are posting about RPGs, this is a good opportunity to remind you ComicReaders Downtown's celebration of RPGs continues until end of the day July 31, 2026. Until that time, every $20 (before tax) you spend on RPG books and RPG accessories (but not dice) allows you to chose one item from the celebration's offerings of modules and quick-start rules from various RPG publishers.

The Boss at ComicReaders Downtown wants a complete overhaul of the board game shelves. We are three days into this project and today a lot of board games are ending up on the floor while we plan and clean and eventually put things in new locations.

What a great opportunity for a sale. Board games on the floor are 25% off regular price. Board games marked for sale are getting a deeper discount if they are on the floor. The sale lasts for as long as the items are on the floor. This picture is a NOW picture but this pile is going to shrink and expand throughout the day. This sale runs until 3:30 PM today.
