h Kids, their clothing and accessories. All items have been washed and inspected with care, and are sold with the promise that they are clean, safe and ready for play or display. They are clean, smell sweet and better than new! Hair has been washed and re-styled. All products used to clean and all accessories have been chosen specifically to extend the life of the original Kid. The concept of Prairie Patch Pals was developed based on the knowledge that anxiety, depression, learning challenges and loneliness are pervasive issues in the lives of today's children. It is wholeheartedly believed that having a sweet faced, huggable Pal that will 'listen' to the issues of the day, be an arm prop while playing a video game or reading a book, and provide endless cuddles at bedtime, will help support positive mental health in the lives of children. While developing Prairie Patch, it became evident that people of all ages, not just kids, will benefit from bringing these wonderful, cuddly Cabbage Patch Kids back to life, and actually, better than before! Prairie Patch strives to be a local community initiative for the main reason that kids like things that other kids like. Creating a local desire for the Pals is the goal, so that the positive benefits of having a Pal to love, can begin. There are a lot of local connections being made to help bring these Pals into the lives of children, and adults who need them. Prairie Patch aims to support each person as they find the Prairie Patch Pal(s) that captures their heart. Prairie Patch grew out of a love for children and their wellbeing. However, the fact that parents, GenXers, elder Millenials, doll collectors and other adults are also finding joy in these items is an additional delight! As a result, Prairie Patch became an online 'store' and 'library' at the same time as the local initiative was launching. Customer service, product knowledge and order accuracy are key to the success of this initiative. It is important for the ONLINE shoppers to know that there are LOCAL shoppers, many of whom are children and they will receive first attention. As a result, online shoppers will be in a kind of queue so that each person can receive full customer service attention. Prairie Patch is focussed on renewing the deep love for an incredibly well made product, and concept, that began with artist/designer Xavier Roberts in 1978 and became Cabbage Patch Kids in 1982. Prairie Patch Pals are adorable, well-designed Kids that have waited many years to be adopted and loved again.
