I just wanted to take a minute and hijack Ruth’s Facebook before she finds a way to fully push me out 😂 …
Years and years ago when I started high school I somehow got tangled up with some town kids who lived on their bikes. I was taken into Martin’s to look for a better bike that could handle the type of riding we did. She didn’t know me from a hole in the ground but never the less she let me put a bike on lay away- and slowly pay it off.
I could tell you she’s done this for so many kids. Her driving force in selling and servicing bikes has been for youth. Her kindness, generosity, and endless knowledge has been what’s kept people coming back to her for all things Martin’s and specifically bikes and repairs…. I am proud to have had the opportunity to work along side her for over 10 years as her bike tech and pain in the a**.

Ps: 20 years later she’s still got me on a lay away program for a bike.

Dear Valued Customers, it is with great regret that I am announcing today that Martin Cycle and Small Engine will no longer be repairing bicycles. I want to extend my thanks to you for your business over the years. I also want to thank the talented techs I have had the pleasure of working with along the way. I will still be stocking parts and accessories and have a limited number of bikes available.
