After a lot of discussion and consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to not move forward with Elsi-con in 2026.
First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who supported our first event last year — the guests, vendors, artists, volunteers, attendees, the community of Elsipogtog, and especially the Council for helping make the event possible.
Putting together a convention is a massive undertaking, and while we’re very proud of what we accomplished together, the time, organization, and funding required to properly run the event just aren’t in place for 2026.
This is not necessarily a goodbye forever. We absolutely may revisit Elsi-con down the road when the timing and resources make sense. We still believe there’s something special there and we’re incredibly grateful for the support and excitement people showed for the event.
A huge thank you as well to everyone behind the scenes who helped bring Elsi-con to life. It truly was a team effort.
For now, we’ll look back proudly on what we created together last August, and we appreciate everyone who was part of it.
