💥A Massive Thank You for Making Elsi-Con 2025 a Roaring Success!💥
We are beyond thrilled to share that our 1st ever Elsi-Con was a great success, and it went off without any major hiccups! A huge shoutout to everyone who made this unforgettable day possible in Elsipogtog!

🧙♂️Cosplay Team Extraordinaire: A special thank you to our Cosplay Directors, Su Hyun Kim-Ouellette & Sebastien Ouellette. Su, our renowned cosplay specialist, was an exceptional judge, and Seb was absolutely phenomenal as both MC for the cosplay contest and the entire event—your mic skills were ! Congratulations to our $1000 Best in Show winner Ricky Terri Whyte and runner-up, Sabrina Barrette (aka EastCoast Harlequinn), for their stunning performances!
🦹♂️IHW Wrestling: You brought the house down! The kids’ reactions were pure joy, exactly what we hoped for. We can’t wait to have you back next year!
🪶Community Support: This event wouldn’t have happened without the incredible backing of Chief and Council, our Arena Manager and crew, Harrisville Canteen, The 20 Fresh Fine Foods, Indige-Watch, and Elsipogtog Public Safety. Your support was the backbone of Elsi-Con!
☀️Vendors: Thank you for taking a chance on our first event and for your patience as we worked out the kinks. We’ve identified areas to improve, and next year’s experience will be even better!
🙋♀️Volunteers: Our 18 amazing volunteers were the heart of this event, ensuring our guests and patrons had a fantastic time. You were incredible!
🙌Our Dream Team: Susan Levi-Peters, Fabien Peters, Kylie Francis, and Brad MacDonald pulled off the unthinkable, organizing this event in just 9 weeks! A special nod to Scott Tingley of the East Coast Comic Expo, whose conversation with Susan sparked this idea, making him the founding father of Elsi-Con. Derek Hansen’s logo designs, marketing materials, floor plan design, and expert guidance were invaluable, and Cindy Plourde stepped up as Volunteer Coordinator, managing the day with finesse. Scott, Derek, and Cindy were pivotal to the event’s success, especially on game day. Despite a few minor issues, the team handled everything with grace, and we’re already planning to make next year even smoother!
