We were lucky enough to have the team behind Luck Devil Comics drop in the shop today! They showed off the freshly printed title they have been working on, The Plague is now available!

Set in a dystopian New Orleans in 2030, The Plague follows Diego Diaz, an ordinary worker who finds himself uncovering a dark secret hidden by his corporate pharmaceutical employer, Inqugenex.

I don't want to give away too much just yet, you are going to have to read it for yourself.

If you’re into dystopian stories, conspiracies, and discovering something a little outside the mainstream, this one is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

**INVASION’S PICKS OF THE WEEK**

New Comic Book Day is here, and we’ve got four books hitting the shelves today that we think deserve a spot on your pull list.

**BATMAN: BAD SEEDS – SUNSET #1**
The Bad Seeds story kicks off with a new one-shot from Matt Fraction and G. Willow Wilson. If you’re a Batman fan, this is one you’re going to want to keep an eye on as the larger Bad Seeds event starts taking shape.

**TOMB OF APOCALYPSE #1**
Apocalypse is back, and Jubilee and Wolverine are heading into an ancient Egyptian tomb with a Celestial artifact at the centre of it all. Sounds like a bad idea — which is exactly why we’re in.

**FALL OF THE HOUSE OF SLAUGHTER #4**
The House of Slaughter continues to unravel as this latest chapter digs deeper into the world behind Something is Killing the Children. If you’ve been following the series, you already know this is one we’re not missing.

**M.A.S.K. ORIGINS #1**
Go back to the beginning with the story of M.A.S.K. and the origins of the characters behind the iconic team. A great jumping-on point for longtime fans and anyone curious about this classic property.

New comic day is here, and we’ve gone through the stack to pull out four books we think deserve a little extra attention this week.

ABSOLUTE GREEN ARROW #4
Dinah’s search for the Green Arrow Killer takes her deeper into the terrifying secrets of the Island. And this issue brings the first appearance of a very different take on a classic DC character. Things are getting seriously dark in the Absolute Universe.

THE LAST DRIVER #1
Sean Gordon Murphy is back with a new ongoing series, and this one looks like a blast. In a future where cars are illegal and the GRID controls transportation, outlaw driver Clutch gets behind the wheel one more time to save his granddaughter. What starts as a rescue mission quickly turns into something much bigger.

THE MORTAL THOR #800
A massive milestone for the Thor saga. With the God of Thunder gone, Sigurd Jarlson is left to face the trials of the gods with nothing but his courage and determination. If you’ve been following Mortal Thor, this is a pretty big one. If you haven’t, this might be a good time to jump on.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #21
A new arc begins with “The City That Never Dies.” Following the events of the landmark TMNT #300, the Hamato Clan is dealing with a threat to the veil between the living and the dead. The Turtles have to put the Ujigami mask back together before the newly risen dead become an even bigger problem.

INVASION'S PICKS OF THE WEEK

New Comic Book Day is here, and as always, we've picked out four books that caught our attention this week. If you're looking for something to add to the pull list, these are four we'd definitely be taking a look at.

MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN #1

Miles is back in a brand-new series, and he's got plenty on his plate. Between school, super-villains and trying to keep Brooklyn safe, Miles thinks he's got things under control. That changes quickly when a threat from his father Jeff's past with S.H.I.E.L.D. comes looking for the entire Morales family. A fresh jumping-on point for Miles fans.

ABSOLUTE BATMAN #23

Things are getting ugly in Gotham. Batman finds himself facing an enemy that hits a little closer to home, while the Robins close in and more allies start looking like enemies. If you've been following Absolute Batman, this is one you aren't going to want to miss.

YUMI 00-EX #1

This one is for anyone who likes their spy thrillers with a healthy dose of absolute insanity. When Yumi's MI6 boyfriend disappears, she goes straight through the agency looking for answers, leaving a trail of hacked systems and destroyed operatives behind her. Then she finds an unlikely partner: a fully sentient AI Lamborghini built more like a weapon than a car. We're definitely curious to see where this one goes.

HELLO KITTY AND FRIENDS: HELLO WORLD! #1

Hello Kitty and her friends are getting their own new comic, and this one is a little mystery for readers of all ages. When some of the gang's signature items go missing, Hello Kitty takes it upon herself to figure out what's going on. A fun, colourful jumping-on point for Sanrio fans, whether you're a longtime fan or discovering these characters for the first time.

New Comic Book Day is here, and if you're only grabbing a handful of books this week, these are the four we'd be pointing you toward.

**Queen in Black #1**
Marvel's next big event kicks off as Hela and Knull go to war, bringing the battle straight to Earth. If you're into symbiotes, cosmic stakes, and blockbuster Marvel stories, this is one to have on your pull list.

**The Dirt Beneath the Devil #1**
A brand-new horror debut packed with dark secrets, unsettling mystery, and a creeping sense of dread. This looks like it's going to be one of those indie books people will be talking about before long.

**Only the Savage Survive #2**
The brutal new series keeps the momentum going with another chapter full of action, tension, and high stakes. If you picked up issue #1, you'll definitely want to see where this story heads next.

**DC's Hawkgirl Summer**
A spotlight on one of DC's most underrated heroes, featuring high-flying action and adventure that's perfect for longtime fans and new readers alike.

It's New Comic Book Day, which means it's time for our **Picks of the Week!**

Here are the four books we're most excited about this Wednesday:

**Dungeon Crawler Carl #0**
If you've been hearing all the buzz about Dungeon Crawler Carl, now's the perfect time to jump in. The wildly popular series finally hits comics, and it's every bit as chaotic and fun as you'd expect.

**Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #20 (Legacy #330)**
The Turtles continue their excellent new era with another action-packed issue. If you've been following the series, this is one you won't want to miss.

**X-Men: Hellfire Murder #1**
A murder mystery set in the aftermath of the Hellfire Gala? Count us in. This new series kicks off with plenty of twists and looks like it's going to have major implications for the X-Men.

**Absolute Wonder Woman #22**

Skirmish season 10 is in the books, after a long day of battling our finals was set. Micheal Metallo on Boltyn, and Kris Mayor on Kayo.
With some incredible play from both players Metallo and Boltyn were able to bring it home for the light!
