This 5 piece promises an eclectic mix of soft rock, country and easy listening tunes, perfect to pair with a sunny summer afternoon. Their setlist spans 70 years from the 50's to the current day, taking all the best tunes from each decade to delight and surprise their audience.

Late summer brings vivid splashes of magenta as purple loosestrife hits its peak bloom, turning wetlands and roadside ditches into a hive of activity.

These tall flowers offer a abundant late-season source of nectar and pollen for our honeybees and other wild pollinators right when many other flowers begin to fade. While the rich feast is a boost for local bees preparing for autumn, this aggressive invasive species quickly crowds out vital native plants like cattails. Enjoy watching the foraging bees in existing wild patches, but consider planting native late-summer blooms like goldenrod or asters in your own garden to support pollinators responsibly.

We are back with another sunflower update. What a difference a couple of weeks can make! Just two weeks ago, these sunflowers were barely at our knees, and now they’re practically shooting for the clouds.

Here’s a quick progress snapshot:
Then (2 weeks ago): Modest green shoots, taking their time.
Now: Waist-high stalks, thick leaves, with the one at the front of the row being over 5 feet tall!

Pulled straight from the hive just this week, our fresh summer honeycomb is summer gold sealed right in the frame. To make just one pound of this raw wax and honey, our bees visited roughly two million flowers. Biting into the wax releases a burst of wildflower nectar that instantly melts in your mouth.
