Late-night baking is one of my quiet loves. I rarely bake for myself, most of what comes out of my kitchen is made for others. It’s how I give love. If I’ve baked for you, know that you hold a special place in my heart.

When I’m not in the garden, there’s a good chance you’ll find me in the kitchen, flour-dusted and content. These slow, wintry months are made for baking, seeds will be started soon, and I’ll shift to playing in the dirt but for now, this is where you can find me.

Reflecting on the past year and all the overflowing buckets of blooms, my heart is already dreaming of the 2026 season. As I plan, choose seeds, and imagine what’s to come, I can’t help but think about the years of growth that brought me here, both in the field and within myself. There’s something so special about how something so simple can bring so much joy.
