Empower Yourself with Common Sense Self-Defense for Women!

We’re excited to introduce Darren, a retired RCMP officer with a passion for empowering women through self-defence. After years in policing, Darren recognized a major gap in self-defence education, especially for women in vulnerable situations. Now, he’s bringing his expertise to Riverview with his program, Common Sense Self-Defense for Women.

To help spread the word, we’ve partnered with Darren to offer a FREE information session on March 23 at 3 PM at Luxe Beauty & Wellness Co. located in the chocolate_river_station

This session is open to women of all ages and businesses or groups looking to provide safety training for their teams.

🍞 Gluten, especially in people with sensitivities, can trigger inflammation, which may worsen symptoms like insulin resistance, weight gain, and hormonal imbalances. Many people with PCOS struggle with insulin resistance. Some research suggests that a gluten-free diet may help improve insulin sensitivity. Gluten can affect gut health, especially for those with sensitivities or conditions like leaky gut. A compromised gut can contribute to hormone imbalances, which are already a major issue in PCOS. Women with PCOS are more likely to have autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. If you have an autoimmune response to gluten (like in celiac disease), cutting it out may improve overall well-being and PCOS symptoms.
