THRIFT STORE VOLUNTEERS!!
We are holding an informal meeting on Wednesday Sept 9 at 10:00 am at the Hospice Thrift store -4834 49th Street. This is open to ALL EXISTING VOLUNTEERS - come and see the new store and meet a few new faces and learn the basic requirements. Also to be familiar with the basic layout and where things belong. We would love to be open on Wednesdays also but as it stands we don’t have enough volunteers. If you know of anyone, friend, relative, neighbor, that would like to work for a 3.5 shift please bring them along! There will be volunteer forms available at the meeting.
It is a fun place to volunteer- we like to laugh and have fun as we work. The hospice suite has helped many families spend quality time with their dying loved one. We also offer grief support in groups, one on one grief support, educational grief workshops, and grief programs for all ages.
We are so much more that just a thrift store but these other areas rely on income from the store. Please help us do a large volunteer roundup and come to our meeting with a friend or two😀
