Did you know that you can make a donation to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary through our In Memoriam Fund.
In Memoriam cards are available at the Auxiliary Gift Shop for anyone wishing to honour a loved one while supporting patient care at our hospital and healthcare in the Tantramar area.

🚨 URGENT: We need volunteer drivers! 🚨

Demand for transportation is now exceeding our capacity to provide rides for clients who need to get to essential medical appointments.

Rural Rides is facing a similar challenge and is now requesting one week’s notice, rather than the previous 48 hours, when booking drives. Both programs depend on volunteers for vital transportation.

You can help. NHWWT reimburses volunteer drivers $0.58 per kilometre driven and covers the difference for the required additional liability insurance on your vehicle.

If you have an inspected vehicle, some time to spare, like to drive, and want to ensure seniors get to their medical appointments, please reach out to learn more about becoming a volunteer driver. You may also scan the pictured QR code to complete the volunteer application form.

Transportation is crucial to aging in place. Until there are other reliable regional transportation solutions in place, our community needs you. 🚗❤️

Donations will be accepted Monday - Friday (except holidays) 9am-11:30am, 1:30pm - 4pm. The Gift Shop is located in the lobby of the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

If you’re on the hunt for a last-minute gift or just want to add a little something to your wardrobe, stop by the Sackville Memorial Hospital Gift Shop in the hospital lobby. Our summer student is there Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., until the end of August. We’ve also added a couple of stylish men’s shirts to the collection.
