Hey Kari and Rodney, does this affect you?

The Red Deer Homeless Foundation has submitted a Development Permit application to The City of Red Deer for Project Nexus, a proposed social care campus at 7740 40 Avenue. The application includes Phase 1 of the project, featuring a proposed 200-bed emergency shelter operated by Hope Mission.

We know there is significant community interest in this project, and we want residents to have an opportunity to learn more and share their feedback.

Written comments will be accepted until June 15, 2026.

To all the people that came to my rescue today when I fell in the parking lot near the Crown and Tower.  especially the two Scott's!  Once they made sure I was OK. They decided that I should not drive myself home. So the one gentleman drove me to my grandson's home. And then my grandson Dexter took over.
 To each and everyone of these people  my heart, felt thanks. Once again it proves what wonderful people we have living in St Albert.
 Merry Christmas to all of you and may 2025  treat you with great kindness as you have shown me today.
