There are some BIG changes happening with international shipping, so please read if you’re in the U.S., EU or UK!

🇺🇸 U.S. COLLECTORS: PLEASE READ

As it currently stands, Trump is threatening to impose a 50% tariff on affected Canadian imports beginning August 19, and unfortunately my products fall under affected tariff codes. 😭

This is completely outside of my control. If the tariffs go into effect, I will have to increase U.S. pricing by 50-55% to cover the additional tariff + associated fees.

⏳ If you’ve been planning to order, I strongly recommend doing so BEFORE AUGUST 13 so I have time to ship your order before the tariff takes effect. U.S. shipping will temporarily pause until we know if the tariffs are imposed or not.

🧿 POTION PENDANTS: I know many of you are waiting for these! They WILL be part of our August 21 drop, but because they’re handmade to order, I can’t make and ship them before the deadline. I’ve decided to hold their release until we know exactly what happens with the tariffs.

I want to be very clear that any U.S. price increase is not a choice I’m making or additional profit for my business. It is the direct result of U.S. import policy, and I’m hoping something changes before August 19. 🤞

🇪🇺🇬🇧 EU + UK: WE’RE FINALLY SHIPPING TO YOU!

For the first time ever, Arcane Apothecary is opening shipping to the EU + UK on August 10 at 12 PM MDT! 🎉

Orders are shipped Duties & Taxes Unpaid (DDU), meaning VAT, duties and/or handling fees may be charged by your country upon arrival. These charges are not included at checkout and are the customer’s responsibility.

EU orders are also being shipped with updated product safety/compliance information to help meet current requirements.

I know international shipping has become a bit of a cluster f*ck lately. 🫠 I’m doing everything I can to navigate it while keeping my work accessible and fairly priced.

Every bottle in this collection has been handcrafted from start to finish, and every label was designed by me. I use a combination of my own illustration, verified licensed artwork, and carefully sourced public domain imagery from historical archives like Century Library. No AI generated artwork, just lots of research, creativity, and probably an unhealthy amount of Pepsi zero cherry. 🥤

I have tons of label creation content recorded, I just need time (and possibly to clone myself) to put it all together.

If you’re hoping to snag a favourite, I’d recommend setting a reminder because once they’re gone, they’ll be headed back to the depths for a good long while (and some of the bottles we used may not be able to be ordered again 😭).

The final stop in our Cursed Seas series dives into one of the oldest pirate legends of all… cursed treasure.

For centuries, stories have told of haunted gold, restless pirate spirits, hidden maps, and treasure so fiercely protected that anyone who dared claim it would be doomed. Whether those tales are fact or folklore, one thing is certain… they continue to capture our imagination.

Dead Man’s Cursed Waters was inspired by those eerie legends. Murky cursed waters swirl around scattered bones, shells, seaweed, pebbles, and the remnants of a long-forgotten voyage, all sealed inside a glass skull bottle that’s equal parts pirate relic and haunted curiosity.

As always, every label is designed by me using my own layouts and typography, combined with verified licensed artwork and carefully sourced public domain imagery from collections such as Century Library. No AI-generated artwork is used in my labels.

My assistant Haley Haley Towers and I MAY have binge watched the Pirates movies while creating this collection and we MAY have created the best fidget potion ever. Complete with heart & sand inside.

🌊🧜‍♀️ The next potion in our Cursed Seas Collection has been revealed… Siren’s Song 🎶

From the bird-women of ancient Greek mythology to the enchanting mermaids of modern folklore, the legends of the Sirens have captivated sailors and storytellers for thousands of years. Their songs promised whatever the listener desired most… and that was often the beginning of the end.

Today’s video dives into the fascinating history behind one of the sea’s most enduring legends which inspired my latest portion.

Siren’s Song launches Friday, July 31 at 12:00 PM MST on both our website and Etsy, and will also be swimming its way to Geeky Markets & Events Inc The Northern Enchanted Faire on August 28 to 30.
