Here's the honest version. A purifier isn't a fix for a wet basement. Water extraction, drying, and proper cleanup come first. But once the fans are running and things are drying out, a good filtration unit handles the particulate and odour side of the process. That's the gap we're trying to help with.

If your basement flooded in the last couple of weeks, there's a part of the cleanup that doesn't get much attention.

After about 48 hours it stops being a water problem and starts being an air problem. Wet drywall, wet carpet and wet particle board start growing mould in a day or two. Once the tear-out begins, all of it goes airborne at once.

Wet drywall comes out. That part we can't help with, period.

What we can do is lend you an Aeris HEPA air purifier to run while you do the work. It captures the mould spores and dust moving through the air during demo.

I didn't realize how stuffy my home office was until I put the Healthway Deluxe in it — DFS filtration, up to 1,200 sq ft, and independently tested. A few days in and the room genuinely feels fresher. If you spend all day in one space, it's worth a look
