Each piece is created by the shop's owner, Wanda Richard, who has a skillful eye for creatively up-cycling battered-down furniture and turning everything that enters the shop into a remarkable piece of work. Our store offers locally-made wooden crafts and Canadian-made Colorantic chalk paint for purchase, as well has in-store craft workshops and special up-cycling projects by request.

As I spend some time digging through ALL that I have here in the studio…. It’s a lot overwhelming!

SO…. I’ve decided to try and make this liquidation as easy as possible for both you and for me.

On JULY 24 and 25…. I’m going to open up this beautiful space for you to come and browse!

I’ll call it a CHRISTMAS IN JULY OPEN HOUSE! 🌲☀️❤️😎

Everything in here is included in the sale, there are lots of Christmas crafts, and oodles of stocking stuffer ideas, too!

Hi Friends, I have some things I want, and also need to share.

I’m not going to go into too much detail, though please feel free to send me a note if you have any questions at all.

When I purchased this little shop of mine last summer, I was at a pretty vulnerable time in my life… I had a hopeful outlook though and was ready for a fresh start.

Through a series of unfortunate, unforeseeable and I’d even go so far as to say, a little weird, events…. things didn’t go quite the way I expected.

My natural response is to to dig my heels in and do everything I can to turn a not-so-great situation into a positive one. I’m a lot of things, but a quitter isn’t one of them.

Being a woman of faith, though, and coming out of some already life-changing situations, I’ve learned a few things.

One of them is, I’ve learned to tackle issues by going into prayer.

I’ve also learned there is an enormous difference between quitting, and laying something down.

So, after much consideration…. after expelling much energy through wrestling with this, and much prayer…. I’ve come to the decision to lay down my business.

I certainly have no plans to sit around. Many new doors have already begun to open for me, including some ministry opportunities and some other interests that I am beginning to explore.

In the coming weeks, I’m looking towards liquidating as much inventory as possible while still finishing up some projects I currently have on the go.

I’ll be posting more about these sale events in the coming days.

She was well loved, and well made, that’s for sure!

She’s solid, and in wonderful shape… and a table this size is a statement all on her own!

So, I decided to keep her refinishing fairly subtle. Stunning grey and a soft cream, and the look of beautiful driftwood painted on the top. She’s one of a kind 😍

This was so fun to do 🤩

I’ll take some better photos tomorrow, then she will be posted for sale on Marketplace 🥰

I’m thinking….. something original for Father’s Day…. and I’m offering them here before they get posted on Marketplace.

The sports signs are molded plastic… ready to hang and painstakingly hand painted by moi.

Boston sign is approximately 18 inches in diameter.

NY Rangers is 18 inches wide at the top, and 17.5 inches high.

Blue Jays sign is 21 inches wide and approximately 17 inches high.

Red Wings sign is 23 inches wide and 11 inches high…. (I still have some touch ups to do on this one, but it will be ready by Friday!)

These are $25 each.

The other signs are wooden, approximately 12 inches in diameter and are $20 each

Only one of each available at the moment… 😎
