Fat Quarter Girls Online fabric store specializing in quilting fabrics. Hi, welcome to our site! My name is Christine and the owner of Fat Quarter Girls. Oh my! Happy Quilting!!!

I am located in beautiful Saint-Lazare Quebec. Opening a fabric store has been a dream of mine for many years now. Nearing my retirement from my office job but not ready to give up on my dream I decided to launch my online store. My love of fabric started when I received a little Kenmore sewing machine from my husband on my 19th birthday. This started my journey of taking sewing classes to make my

own clothes, and when I started having kids would make them lots of overalls, dresses, T-shirts and all their Halloween costumes. A few years later my mother-in-law introduced me to the fabulous world of quilting! The sheer joy of walking into a quilt store and seeing all those colors, textures and prints! Life just couldn't get better. My three daughters, Cheryl, Melanie and Stephanie are also quilters and crafters. They will be helping me along my journey while managing families and careers of their own. I hope that you are inspired by our beautiful fabrics for your future projects.
