We like the weird ones. The witchy ones. The crystal collectors, candle hoarders, book lovers, spooky-season-all-year people and anyone who gets way too excited walking into a shop like this.

Purely Wicked is pure magic tucked into downtown St. Thomas, Ontario filled with handmade apothecary, candles, crystals, books, herbs, teas and a whole lot of things you absolutely did not come in for.

There is something truly magical about gathering a whole theatre full of witches.

We rented out the theatre for a private viewing of Practical Magic 2, and seeing so many of you show up, laugh together and share this night with us was honestly so special.

These are the moments I love most when Purely Wicked becomes so much more than a shop and we get to actually gather as a community.

Thank you to every single person who came out and made the night what it was. We had SO much fun with you.

More witchy nights together, please. 🖤🌙✨

HARVEST FULL MOON INTENTIONS 🌾

The Harvest Full Moon is a time for gratitude, reflection and release honouring what you’ve grown while letting go of what you don’t want to carry into the next season.

Release it. Write down what no longer serves you fears, habits, grudges, old energy and safely burn the paper in a fire. Watch it disappear and consciously let it go.

Wash it away. Take a warm ritual bath with salts or herbs. As the water drains, imagine everything you’re releasing going with it.

Then take a moment to think about what you do want to carry forward.

Keep the lessons. Release the rest. Make space for what’s next. 🌕🍂

IT’S FALL! And the witch shop has officially entered its CRAZIEST season.

Hexes&JinxesMysticalMarket is just over ONE WEEK AWAY. We’re making things. Packing things. Ordering things. Planning things. You guys are shopping like crazy. The store is busy. Production is busy. EVERYTHING IS BUSY. 😂

And we absolutely freaking love it.

This is the season we wait for all year and seeing you guys come through the doors, place your orders, get excited about all the new things and support our little witchy world means more than you know. 🖤

But also… my head may actually explode. 😂

So if we’re a little quieter on here, take three business days to answer something, forget what day it is, or generally seem slightly unhinged for the next few weeks THAT’S WHY.

We’re here. We’re working our asses off. We’re having the best time. And we are SO grateful for every single one of you wonderful, patient, understanding humans who support Purely Wicked.

🍂 Blessed Mabon, witches. 🍂

The Fall Equinox might be one of my favourite turns of the wheel.

It’s that beautiful in-between moment light and dark standing together, summer slipping away, and the world beginning to quiet.

For me, Mabon feels like coming home.

The windows open to cool air. Candles burning earlier. Sweaters coming back out. Tea steeping. The leaves changing. The garden slowing down. And suddenly there’s permission to slow down a little too.

It’s a time of harvest not only of what we’ve grown, but of everything we’ve carried, created, survived and learned this year.

A moment to be grateful for what came to fruition, let go of what didn’t, and begin turning inward.

Autumn has always felt like a beginning to me. A new chapter. A reset. A return to ourselves.

So today we’re celebrating Mabon at Purely Wicked in our own little way. 🍎🍂🕯️

We have a few magical gifts with purchase in store + online today, just because we wanted to share a little something with our witchy community as we welcome the season.

Here’s to darker evenings, warmer drinks, slower days, changing leaves and the beginning of the coziest, witchiest part of the year. 🖤

Listen: I LOVE being a witch.
I love the magic, the ritual, the history, the herbs, the candles, the community, all of it.

But there are a few things I could absolutely live without 😅

No, I don’t worship Satan.
No, there isn’t one universally accepted "Witch Rule Book"
No, I cannot read your mind.
And please stop asking me to curse your ex. 🫶🏻

Witchcraft is wildly personal. There are a thousand different ways to practice, believe, honour, celebrate and make magic and none of us were elected spokesperson for the entire witch population.

So consider this my completely unofficial list of grievances. 😘
