The bottle depot at Salmo Valumart & Bottle Depot has moved into the old plant room.

Along with recyclables we accept electronics, used paints/paint cans/spray paint cans, batteries and light bulbs for recycling. All items can now be brought in and processed through the bottle depot till.

Just a few reminders:
Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All Express returns should be dropped off in clear garbage bags, with glass ideally returned in a box to avoid breakage.

We no longer accept pre-counted bags. All returns must be rung through Express or be sorted into trays and counted by our team.

We do not accept aerosol cans, propane tanks, helium cylinders, plastic or cardboard recycling. If you are unsure as to what can be brought to our facility please check out the Return-It website at https://www.return-it.ca/. See less

Sorry to say that we will no longer be accepting electronic recycling, light bulb recycling or paint. Please check the Return it website to find where to return these items.

****UPDATE, still accepting paint cans, light bulbs, and electronics at the recycling center until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience.
