The blooms are here at Lavender & Black. Our English lavender is the first to open each summer, and we've just begun harvesting. Some will be dried for culinary creations; the rest will be destined for our copper still and our upcoming distilling sessions.

This is only the beginning. Different varieties will continue blooming right through the end of July. See the fields as they wake up; this is just the beginning of what summer has in store. 💜

Summer is in full swing here on the farm 💜🌿 The lavender has started to bloom, the helichrysum is opening up, and the shop doors are wide open Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Walk along the paths, browse the shop, and take a little of Salt Spring home with you.
