Employee Spotlight: Grant!
A true Cinderella story, Grant has earned the nickname ‘Wonder Boy’ for how quickly he has risen the ranks. He joined us in August 2021 as a packaging assistant, promoted himself to senior cellerman soon after, and a few days later held us at gun point and said ‘I want to be a brewer.’ Turns out Wonder Boy is a pretty great brewer, despite the thinly veiled threats of eventually staging a coup to take over the entire company.
When Grant found out he was up next for an employee spotlight write up, he requested that we “not hold back, really roast me”. Problem is he doesn’t say any words most days, and nothing he does is out of the ordinary; he just works hard, gets along with everyone, reads My Little Pony novels in the break room, eats 2 dozen hard boiled eggs every shift, obsessively cleans his glasses with a tiny squeegee, hums the 'Kars 4 Kids' theme song non stop, and practices karate moves behind the dumpster. We even checked his internet history and its mostly filled with searches about where to find enough cedar shavings to make your house smell like a hamster cage. The guy is unroastable.
