Everyone's favorite Siberian Husky, Miss Layla, with her one blue one brown eyes & soft white coat is sick and needs surgery.
Layla has a very large mass on her breast, tests to find out if its binine and removal of lump are estimated to cost her owner Lori anywhere from $1500-$3000.
Layla & Lori have been the bestest of companions for 7 years, when Lori got Layla as a pup.
These two adventure seekers are inseparable. Layla is beloved by so many ppl. "Houdini," we call her because of her impeccable escape skill. She often frequents local establishments to say hello to the patrons & her friends. Dempseys ( Hakka), Downtown Fleamarket, Mad Munch, Maxwell Beerstore & the Waterfront off Front St are her most likely stops if she gets out. Layla, just like Lori, attracts ppl with her warm demeanor. Layla loves nothing more than meeting new friends when she jumps in their vehicles to go for a car ride ( usually home but sometimes to say hi to her friends at the Sarnia Human Society)
Lori, being the animal fanatic, she is wisely retained insurance on Layla when she was just a puppy, not wanting anything to ever arise, and Layla not be taken care of.

The fine print in this story is Laylas tests and surgery are not covered by her insurance due to the lump being on her breast. Femal dogs' reproductive systems are not covered ! Breast being part of that system.
Miss Layla has not been herself, and you can see her in obvious pain as the lump grows larger every day,
Layla has no energy or appetite and is losing weight. Scheduled surgery is for mid-July, but it could be arranged sooner.
Layla needs a little help from her friends and fans to get her surgery asap.
The veterinarian quoted $1500-$3000 for Layla's procedures . If it doesn't require $3000, the remainder of donated funds will be given to The Farley Fund to help them keep doing amazing things for fur babies everywhere.
