It's settling down after the storms at Erieau. Lots of walleye at the "horse shoe" but we tried for rainbow east at the point. Heard guys were getting them but we only got walleye. Red with black dots Triple threat and streak pink panties produced steadily. We didn't go deep, 48 to 55ft.

Got willow out for her 13th birthday. First fish was a nice bow. Came off rigger with pink pantie spoon in 60ft off Rhondeau Park. Great start!

Back out to chase rainbows tonight. Wind had picked up and it was pretty bumpy. Started catching walleye but rainbows started at around 730. Spoons and riggers worked best.
Running black and blue spoons running fast worked for us. Don't be afraid to go 4mph or go into 50 ft. Good luck.

Wind finally died down enough to go out fishing off Rhondeau Park. Walleye were hitting in around 60ft of water. Walmart was the best spoon today.
The rainbow taken with a Walmart on a rigger down around 30. Good luck.

Daughter and son in law, Dale, packed rainwear but luckily it turned hot and sunny at Erieau.
It started slow so we tied on bombers and slowed down. No rainbows but the walleye liked it.
It's always fun to see your kids catching fish.

Keeping speed up and mag spoons seems to be working. Double header at 11: 50am. Fishing off point east of erieau in 60ft of water. One dipsey and the other on the rigger.

Went to point east out of erieau this morning. Lost a nice bow at the boat. But no shortage of walleye.
We're running all spoons and keeping speed up. 3.5mph or more. Hoping for rainbows

Lots of fish at Erieau. Walmart and Blueballs streaks were working good. We were straight out of harbour in 55 to 75 ft of water. Trying the point tomorrow for rainbows. Will let you how it goes. Good luck out there!
