Cacao beans. Cacao butter. Local honey. That’s it. And for our Peanut Bark, we add dry-roasted organic peanuts. No preservatives or unnecessary extras.

This is what sets our chocolate apart. We sweeten our dark chocolate with Saskatchewan honey, with no refined sugar. šŸÆ

712 Chocolate is Brant and Glenda, making dark chocolate in small batches just north of Saskatoon. Local, hands-on and made with love.

We source cacao from three incredible regions: Tanzania, Peru and Ecuador. Each origin brings its own unique flavour to the chocolate.

Our Peanut Bark combines dark chocolate with dry-roasted organic peanuts for a little protein hit that helps get you through the day. Indulgent and satisfying.

Especially when it’s smooth, delicious and loaded with dry-roasted organic peanuts. Dark chocolate doesn’t have to be bitter or boring.

Life is just better with more chocolate in it. Take it from us. šŸ«

Eat the whole bar. Skip the crash. šŸ«

Refined sugar spikes your energy and drops it just as fast. The classic crash and burn …

You deserve a better snack!

That’s why we use local honey instead of refined sugar, it’s such a game changer.

Finally a snack that feels indulgent because it is, and one you can actually feel good about finishing.

So go ahead, eat the whole thing!

(We wrote a whole blog post about the science behind it.)

Finding a snack that tastes incredible and doesn’t make you feel guilty shouldn’t be so hard. šŸ«

If dark chocolate hasn’t been your thing, you’re not alone. Most dark chocolate is either bitter or over-processed, and that’s exactly why we do things differently.

Cacao beans, cacao butter, and local Saskatchewan honey instead of refined sugar, making it smoother, less bitter, and something you can actually feel good about.

Add organic dry-roasted peanuts for a protein hit and that’s the whole list.

Made by hand in small batches, right here in SK.

The long weekend is coming, stock up on our signature dark chocolate peanut bark online or find us at a local supplier near you.

Some moments are worth slowing down for. šŸ«

That snap of dark chocolate peanut bark, the smell of a fresh cup of coffee, and suddenly time stands still.

Honestly, we think it should.

Rich dark chocolate, the sweetness of local honey, and a protein hit from the peanuts. Can a snack be indulgent and guilt-free at the same time? We think so.

Four simple ingredients, made by hand in small batches, for exactly this kind of moment.

You’ve earned the break. Make it a good one.

Canada Day hits different this year. šŸ

If you’ve been watching Canada in the World Cup, you already know. It’s crazy how sports can reignite that sense of passion and pride, kind of gives you vibes of the 2010 Olympics when everyone had those red mittens. šŸ˜‚ It just feels really good to be Canadian right now.

That’s also why those four words on our packaging mean so much to us.

Proudly Canadian Made and Owned.

We’re proud to make the best three-ingredient chocolate using local honey, made with love right here in our shop.

This Canada Day, as we remember what it means to be Canadian, we encourage you to support local and Canadian small businesses.

It feels good to invest back into your community, so keep that going.

Happy Canada Day from Brant, Glenda, and all of us at 712 Chocolate. šŸ«šŸ Go Canada! āš½ļø

A Harvard study just gave us 192,000 reasons to love dark chocolate. šŸ«

Researchers tracked over 192,000 people for 30+ years. The ones who ate dark chocolate regularly? 21% lower risk of type 2 diabetes.

Milk chocolate didn’t make the cut.

We’ve got thoughts on why. (Honey might have something to do with it.)

Some trade secrets aren’t meant to stay secret. 🤫

A few years back we decided to cut out refined sugar, and we really weren’t ready to give up chocolate.

So we tried something that apparently wasn’t supposed to work.

Turns out... it did. šŸÆšŸ«

Oops.

ā¤ļøšŸŒ±šŸ« A Gardenscapes/712 Chocolate Love Story!!

A couple stopped by our chocolate booth today to recreate their first date. šŸ‘©ā€ā¤ļøā€šŸ‘Ø

At first we didn’t think much of it.

But then they told us the story.

A year ago, on their very first date, they came to this same show and stopped at our booth for a hot chocolate. It was the first time she let him take her picture.

Today, they came back to do it again.

Same booth. Another photo.

She’s still using that first picture as her profile photo.

We gave them a bar and wished them a happy anniversary.

It’s moments like that that stick with you.

Danna and Philip, thanks for letting us be a small part of your story.
