Meta appears to be sending random automated messages as part of some “testing”. Some people are getting a “Hi, [name]. thanks for following us. Anything we can help with?” message. I have all my automated messages shut off and these aren’t coming from me so you don’t need to respond.

Seems this has been happening to quite a few business pages across Facebook over the last 14 days. The messages seem to be random as to who gets it. Hopefully meta stops this testing because I don’t want my followers to have to deal with random meta automated messages.
