Entry No. 1 (of who knows how many) into the Do-it Molds Custom Tackle contest!

This is a 1-1/8oz lead jigging spoon made with 100% RECYCLED lead through one of my fav Do-it Molds, mind-blowing paints from Barlow's Tackle, and the best eye in the game from none other than Dead Meat Customs.

You wanted more Limited Edition eyeballs for the drop next month?? You got it.

I've been wanting to try out a mega glow eyeball for a bit now so here it is.

They glow. A lot. And are also a delightfully natural white color in daylight.

A lot prettier than Wonderbread too....

Here's yet another round of Limited Edition eyeballs!

Our good pals over at have been "casually" suggesting I take a stab at a blood red jig with a white eye so I figured it was finally time to take a stab at it... Who knows, maybe you'll find a few of these over there later this summer...

These feature a blood red and glow base, a pearl white shimmery eye, and a delightful touch of my favorite white and silver vein paint from to finish it off.

Here's another look at the final result of some of YOUR suggestions for some eyeball jigs.

Sparkly Black & Lime Green was the request and I couldn't decide which color was better as the base so I had to try it out twice to see which one combo looked better!

Let me know which of the two you like better! Also do you think glow matters during the summer??? I debate myself constantly...

More to come soon, keep those ideas piling up, I'll be doing another night of experiments shortly!

Open Water Season is officially in full swing round these parts and the opener did not disappoint.

Fired up the lead, grabbed my mold from and ran a batch of recycled pyramid sinkers to hit up my favorite little river spot and fish decided that all that effort deserved a show!

Over 30 sturgeon landed using the Recycled Pyramid Sinkers and my absolute favorite sturgeon rigs from Larry's Lucky Leaders. (Iykyk)
