To my fathers… ♥️
You are my guiding stars.
Both of the father figures in my life worked extremely hard and taught me so many lessons throughout my life. No matter how stormy life would get, they always provided a sense of stability, safety, and strength.
My biological father, Fred, is the kindest soul and offers so much wisdom in quiet ways. His work ethic is beyond belief and I am so grateful for his presence in my life. Although he prefers to be in the background, anyone who knows him knows how wonderful of a human he is 🥰
PHOTOS:
1. I’m unsure of the exact date, but this would’ve been mid 80s I believe… LOOK HOW COOL MY DAD WAS 🤩
2. The latest photo of my dad and I from last month… ps. He’s still cool 😎

My adoptive dad, Erwin, is no longer with us but his love and influence have never faded. I became a part of their family when I was 3 months old and lived in their home full-time until I was 5 or 6, but stayed between my two families growing up.
The hard thing about celebrating someone who has returned home to the other side is running out of photos and not having the opportunity to take more! That’s okay though - I was still able to find some of my favourites.
3. My adoptive dad, Erwin, and I at the front door of my first home 🏡 on Ave Y N Saskatoon 1993/1994
4. My favourite photo of us 🥰 I wanted to do EVERYTHING with my dad: groceries, dishes, fishing (my favourite thing to do with him!🎣), garage sales, car rides… you name it, I was stoked as long as I got to tag along 🤭 I think the smiles in this photo captures my love & admiration for him
To all fathers both here and back “home” 💗 Happy Father’s Day!
