This crisis hits close to home for us. As a business, we proudly source a meaningful portion of our products from Nepal from hard working, talented , artisans and creators. Nepal is a beautifully diverse but landlocked country, which means that recovering from massive natural disasters is very difficult. The surrounding mountains and lack of sea ports complicates things and slows down traditional international supply chains. Because of our deep roots there we cannot just stand by.
What we are doing: Dharma Chakra will donate $2 from every purchase you make, no matter how small, from Saturday, September 5, 2026 to Friday, September 11. This final amount will be sent directly to someone we have contact with in Nepal, avoiding the fees associated with organizations.
By doing this…food,clean water, medical aid and shelter will be provided to families who may be cut off from mainstream relief.
Our hearts go out to our artisans, their families, and the people of Nepal. Thank you for your continued generosity and helping us support the community that gives so much soul to our shelves.
