🔥 ANOTHER SYSTEM SAVED! 🔥

What started as a Poké Ball Edition Nintendo 2DS XL with a completely separated top screen, torn LCD ribbon cable, and broken hinge has been brought back to life!

We carefully repaired the system while saving as much of the original shell as possible, especially important when working on systems with sentimental value to their owners.

For the parts that couldn’t be saved, we sourced a quality replacement shell that matched the original, allowing us to preserve the look and character of this rare Poké Ball Edition system.

✅ Top screen repaired
✅ Torn LCD ribbon cable addressed
✅ Broken hinge repaired
✅ Original shell preserved wherever possible
✅ Quality matching replacement components
✅ Fully tested and back to 100% functionality!

At The Repair Wiz, we understand that some devices are worth more than their replacement cost. Sometimes, you don’t want a new system, you want your system back.

LEFT: How oxidized Liquid Metal is commonly cleaned from a PlayStation 5 heatsink.

RIGHT: How we properly clean oxidized Liquid Metal at The Repair Wiz.

The difference may not look dramatic at first, but the cleaning process matters.

On the left, you’re seeing a quick surface clean using a single Q-Tip and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. While this may remove some of the visible residue, it can leave behind oxidized material that continues to cause problems.

On the right, we use a more thorough approach to cleaning, carefully working the heatsink until we are no longer picking up black residue.

This level of cleaning takes more time and attention to detail, but it’s important when addressing overheating and poor thermal performance. Leaving oxidized residue behind can contribute to the problem returning much sooner.

At The Repair Wiz, we don’t just clean what’s visible, we take the time to properly deep-clean the affected areas to help restore proper thermal performance and prevent recurring overheating issues.

Proper cleaning takes time. Proper repairs take attention to detail. Don’t settle on good enough, make sure you get the best service you can find for your hard earned money!
