The art quilt contest by Cherrywood Hand Dyed Fabrics

Jane Goodall was world-renowned for her groundbreaking, long-term study of wild chimpanzees in Tanzania. Her life’s work has solidified her reputation as a leading primatologist, conservationist, and influential voice for animal welfare.

Her passing is widely mourned as the loss of an iconic voice. This challenge memorializes Jane and her inspirational message of peace and hope.
A portion of the proceeds from this Cherrywood Challenge will be donated to JaneGoodall.org. This is also a great resource for inspiration!

It's Christmas in July!

Along with our amazing Rudolph prints that arrived we now have just 4 of these perfect holiday kits.

This pieced quilt features pretty presents wrapped up with bows. Kit includes the pattern by Villa Rosa Designs, and fabric for the quilt top and binding. Fabrics, including 10 fat quarters, are from the Suffolk Holiday collection by Morris & Co. for FreeSpirit Fabrics.

Finished size: 59" x 64"
Skill level: Advanced beginner

More pre-orders are now live on our website! Both Elizabeth Hartman and Art East Quilting Co. patterns are now available to order. Pre-orders will be accepted until July 31st and then you can expect your pattern to arrive in 2-6 weeks.

Both companies have adorable, detailed patterns (that are my favourite to make)! If you've been eyeing up some Elizabeth Hartman but have been a little intimidated don't worry! We will be running a class this fall helping you work through which ever of her patterns you'd like! Art Easy Quilting Co. is a Canadian company and I can just see the Gone Fishing Pattern done up in our Tula Pink "Tabby Road Deja Vu”!
