Excellent service from salesperson who helped me find a necklace that went well with the dress. It was near to closing time so I didn't try it on as it was a large and I felt sure it would fit. The appliques on the front of the dress and the pleats are lovely. The pleats on the back are also BUT once I was home and tried it on, they made it almost impossible to take off. I got some help so as not to tear the fabric. I took it to a dressmaker, and when we looked at the back pleats together we saw that the sewing along the pleats had been stretched by a previous customer. The person suggested removing the pleats at the back, which we did. It worked out well and I enjoy wearing it. However, if your shoulders are wider this dress will not fit It would have benefitted from an invisible zipper being inserted at the back, from neck to about 6 inches down. And also less pleats at the back. I buy many of my clothes from HillTribe and enjoy supporting the goals of Fair Trade as these things are important to me.
