Shabby Motley Update!
I recorded this video 2 days ago, but I talk so slowly that I had to spend hours editing it 😆 Here are the highlights:

1. Thanks for coming out to the Algoma Fibre to Fabric Festival and see you next year!
2. Fibre arts yarn pantry coming soon (sneak peak at the ‘before’).
3. Spinning wool from Saint Joseph Island.
4. Friday Night Knitting every Friday from 5pm-8pm at home bakehouse.
5. Still uploading inventory on site, but plugging away - free local delivery.
6. Going to post more frequently.

Saturday, July 25th from 10am to 3pm is our last day stocking the yarn corner at .bakehouse_cafe, and we are having a huge final moving sale TODAY ONLY!

It feels like the end of an era after being in the same location for 13 years, but we have some exciting plans when we find the perfect space! In the meantime, visit our online shop (aiming to have all inventory posted by August 1st!), keep coming out to Friday Night Knitting (all craft) Club each Friday from 5-8pm, and be sure to come out to the 4th annual festival on August 8th, where you will find us along with many other amazing vendors, demonstrations and exhibits!

We’ve got some big news! The time has come for us to move the remaining Shabby Motley inventory at 356 Queen St. E to online-only at the end of July. We need to clear some space for HOME bakehouse & cafe to expand their seating, and take some time focus on our next iteration! We will be back with a bricks-and-mortar space in the future, but will be taking our time to find the perfect location! In the meantime, we will focus on building up our hand dyed yarn stock, posting our full inventory online (a never-before-seen feat for us 🤣), and broadening our shop beyond yarn to more of a fibre arts / studio focus.

Important things to note:

🧶Friday Night Knitting will continue on as usual at Home Bakehouse, every Friday from 5-8pm!

🧶The less we have to pack the better - visit Home Bakehouse by July 25th and save 25% on all in-stock yarn, along with some other deeply discounted items!

🧶We will continue to offer private and group classes throughout the year! Stay tuned for a fall schedule and message us with any private party inquiries.

🧶Physical (paper) gift cards will continue to be valid, however they don’t work on the website check-out, so you will have to message us to use them after July 25th.

🧶We are a proud organizing partner of the Algoma Fibre to Fabric Festival on August 8th, and will be there with our current and yet to be released inventory! You can bring your gift cards there!

🧶We will also be posting some miscellaneous non-inventory items throughout the summer while we work on clearing out the basement storage room!
