A little progress on the workbench today. 🌿

One of the best things about working from home is that my leathercraft gets to happen alongside homeschooling, with my children growing up around the workbench and seeing what it means to build something with your hands.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business and, in turn, this life I’m building with my kids. 🫶🏽

From learning the craft to teaching it. 🖤

Yesterday I had the opportunity to bring leathercraft into the university classroom and teach a group of students the basics of the trade. What a beautiful full-circle moment.

Last year, I never imagined I’d be doing this. And now I’m being invited back. 🥹

Here’s to keeping traditional craft alive, one student and one piece of leather at a time. 🫶🏽

Lately I’ve started hearing this around town:

“Oh! You’re the leather girl!”
"I know you!”
“I’ve seen your leather!”

And honestly? **I love it.** 🥹

After 20+ years working with leather, there’s something pretty special about becoming *the leather girl* in your little corner of the world.

The maker.
The teacher.
The one who’s always got a project on the go.
The one who still believes these old skills are worth passing on.
