Happy Monday
We finally got some much welcome rain. It will take more to get us into “normal” levels but it is a start 😊
Got down to Ashcroft for the last swim of the season. We go down at least once a year. Most times the lane swim only has a dozen people. This time there were 3 of us swimming. I don’t know how they can keep that pool going 😔
We also picked up some produce at Dessert Hills. Mostly fruit this time. Tom did get an ice cream. The serving was huge, their freezers were at the right temperature, but it wasn’t Foothills. We’re spoiled we are used to the good stuff and a lot of others brands just aren’t as good. The Dutch Chocolate was nice, had good texture but it lacked the fat content. Not only are we spoiled but we have learned the differences 😆
I’m away again this Wednesday, Tom will be covering. The next couple of test schedule after this shouldn’t interfere with work. Depending on the results, will depend on how much more testing they have to add. Fingers crossed it comes back negative 🤞
When you are going though cancer treatments / testing, there are things that just start being normal. This last week I had a test that put me in a different part of the hospital. The nurse asked me if I’d had this test before. I answered they are looking for cancer so I’m going through a lot of test right now. She asked what else I had to do. I told her I have 2 MRI’s, a PET and the normal CT’s. Her eyes bugged out and the little voice in my head reminded me that what I’m doing isn’t normal.
Well it’s time to get this finished off and posted. I have a mound of dishes waiting for me and there is no going home until they are done. Hope you had a happy Monday, stay safe and keep the positive going all week long 😊-Tina
