For those who’ve followed Unidec over the years, you’ve seen the work, the projects, and the craftsmanship shared online — almost all of it posted by me. Unidec is where I got my start. It’s the business my parents built, and the place where I learned everything I know about flooring, tile, wood, and the value of honest work.

After years of growing under their guidance, I’ve taken the next step and launched my own company: The Tile & Wood Co. I’m proud of the work I’m doing, and I’m grateful for every homeowner who has trusted me in their space. If I’ve completed work in your home and you’re happy with the results, a review on Google would mean a lot. Following a career spanning almost 60 years, UNIDEC Ltd. is closing its doors. We are sincerely grateful to our customers, suppliers, and friends for your support and loyalty throughout the years. Thank you for being part of our retirement journey.

Although UNIDEC Ltd. is closing, the craftsmanship continues. Michael Schuetz, who spent almost 30 years creating custom projects with UNIDEC Ltd., has opened The Tile & Wood Co. Customers can continue to rely on for the same custom tile and wood flooring services, delivered with the experience, quality and attention to detail he has always provided.

Was done with a chemical free wash, and no pressure washer.

The installation of the tile in this master en suite has just been completed. It features a stunning grey 24” x 24” tile on the floor and a matching 12” x 24” tile for the walls. This washroom has Schluter waterproofing behind the shower walls and Schluter Detra heat under the floors, including inside the shower the shower also includes not just one but two soap, dishes for all of your soaps, and there is no step to step over when entering this shower

Every time we install a in floor warming system, we always take a photo to show where the electric cable is in relation to what we are going around. Something the plumber has a toilet that had additional fasteners that get installed into the floor. By taking these pictures, we can show where the cables are, and where that are not not.
