Shellbrook Arts Council hosts an annual Christmas Craft Market at the Shellbrook Community Hall in November.

We are so excited to be part of the upcoming craft show! We are a mother-daughter team based right out of Canwood, entering our third year of creating custom laser-cut and engraved pieces.

From seasonal holiday decor to personalized gifts, Sherry and Jalisa love making unique keepsakes. One of our favorite parts of what we do is offering lots of customization options, so if you have a special idea in mind, we’d love to chat!

Wendy Wendel is a potter from Shellbrook area, who began sharing her mom’s love of pottery in her mom’s basement about 3 years ago. She also took some classes at Heart Space Clay Studio. Wendy makes both functional and decorative pieces, and enjoys trying new techniques using underglaze as well as putting her Cricut to use to create glaze resist images.

Studio 1203, Gilles and Colette Pelletier from Morin Lake. We spend many hours creating in our lakeside studios. Gilles is a woodcarver and also creates unique birdhouses from recycled wood and found objects. Gilles enjoys carving whimsical Christmas ornaments and will have a varied selection to pick from. Colette is a potter making functional and decorative pottery. We are looking forward to being a part of the Christmas craft sale !

Honeywood Heritage Nursery Inc will be bringing some Jelly made from fruit and flowers that have grown on our 80 acres. Individual jars and gift baskets along with a bit of Honeywood Merchandise to make your Christmas shopping just a little bit easier.

Focus: Stained glass
Brenda always admires the beauty of stained glass. She began by taking her first class offered by Father Valley as the instructor. Through his inspiration, she has continued on with her glass work. Brenda uses the smart colour of glass, unique texture and bevels to create her art.
