We teach the cold process method and the melt and pour methods of making soap. The cold process method uses lye, and is known as the “old fashioned way” to make soap. You will take home the soap mold, a lot of soap and knowledge to make your own soap and recipes in the future....priceless. We also teach melt and pour (glycerine) soap class which is suitable for all ages. Wixy Soap uses only high-quality bases that you will learn to make into beautiful healthy soap. The design of your soap is endless! Be sure to check out Lotion Crafting Classes and Bath Bomb Classes. Generally, the classes are held on the weekends. Calling all Wixy Soap makers! Come spend a festive day creating soap, catching up with fellow makers and having plenty of Christmas fun. This special event follows the same cold-process method taught in our regular class but this time, you are free to create any soap design you want! Experiment with your colours, swirls and creative ideas, and enjoy access to some extra-special ingredients that are not offered during the regular Cold Process Soap Making Class. The party is scheduled early enough for your handmade soap to be ready for Christmas gift-giving. Important note: You must have previously completed Wixy Soap’s Cold Process Soap Making Class to attend. This is a creative soap making party for returning students, not an introductory class.
