This adorable little guy, with his big wagon, was out for a stroll with his family in downtown Shubie and had to stop and say good morning to Purple Pete!! They said he absolutely loves Purple Pete and Red Rose💜❤️At ATEN and the Violet Rose, we strive to make sure everyone feels welcomed.

When you drive down Main Street in Shubenacadie, you’re very likely to see ‘’Purple Pete” or “Red Rose” trying to wave you in to visit the Violet Rose Gift & Thrift Shop!! Come on in!! Check out all the great rearranging and improvements Crystal, Karen, Nancy & Cara have been doing! The shop has a really warm and ‘boutiquee’ feel to it - but don’t worry, boutiquee prices don’t exist in this thrift shop!
Almost 4 years ago, the purpose of this shop was thoughtfully designed to be able to serve everybody who comes through its doors. We measure our success by the care, compassion, dignity and respect our customers experience each time they visit.
Please, stop by, check it out. We have a comment/suggestion box in our brand new ‘Book Nook’ seating area, right next to the FREE stuff and the ‘Give or Take’ food pantry! Let us know how we’re doing or how we could improve the experience for the communities we serve. We’d love to hear from you!
