Riversong Guitars

Every Miltimore Custom is personal to me.

I’m Mike Miltimore, founder and luthier at Riversong Guitars. Custom guitars are where I get to experiment—choosing exceptional woods, trying new ideas and pushing our designs beyond what we’ve done before.

They’re more than guitars. They’re a snapshot of where I am as a builder at that moment.

And then they leave my hands and become part of someone else’s story.

You can’t be better if you’re the same.

What if an acoustic guitar didn’t have to follow the same rules it has followed for the last 100 years?

That question is pretty much why Riversong exists.

At Guitar Summit in Mannheim, we’re unveiling something new: the prototype Riversong DA 2P GA with True Temperament frets.

We were the first to build a True Temperament acoustic guitar.

Then we built the first True Temperament 12-string acoustic.

Now we’re working toward the next step — a production Riversong built around True Temperament.

And True Temperament is only part of the story.

Every Riversong features our patented Adjustable Neck-Thru system, giving players control over action and intonation in a way a traditional fixed-neck acoustic simply can’t.

Add multiple fan-fret configurations, California scale and traditional scale options, and suddenly we aren’t just asking how to build a better version of the same guitar.

We’re asking what an acoustic guitar could be.

We have enormous respect for the traditions that built this industry. But innovation doesn’t come from simply repeating them.

You can’t be better if you’re the same.

Come find Riversong Guitars at Guitar Summit in Mannheim and play the prototype for yourself.
