📸🎣More photo and video postcards from Scotty's late summer trip to Ontario! 🎣📸

On Day 4 of our adventure, we were joined by friends and Pro-Staffers Rob Jones ( ) and Shawn Barrett ( ) for a fun day of fishing and filming on beautiful Lake Erie in Ontario.

The morning greeted us with a spectacular sunrise, followed by a few hours of great fishing. We netted a bunch of walleye, and a nice catfish.

As afternoon approached, the wind picked up significantly, causing some big swells and some nasty chop that cut the day a little short and gave us an awfully bumpy ride back to the marina.

Huge thanks to Shawn and Rob for helping us out! We deeply appreciate all your contributions!

Next up is a final (rainy) day of fishing on Lake St. Clair, targeting muskie!

📸🎣Another batch of photos and video postcards from Scotty's most recent trip to Ontario! 🎣📸

On Day 3, we fished Lake Erie again, launching from Turkey Point early in the morning. Once again, we lucked out with beautiful weather, with some mildly windy conditions cropping up around noon.

Our Pro-Staffer, friend and guide, Rob Jones ( ) kept us on the fish again, and we reeled in a ton of walleye, and a couple of salmon, taking advantage once again of the precision readings from our Scotty Seeker probe system, powered by

We took a little detour mid-day to check out the lighthouse on Long Point, before heading back to the marina.

On our next day on Lake Erie, we'll be joined by another great pal and Pro-Staffer, Shawn Barret ( Ziekertail Tackle ) for another day of Walleye fishing, and then we're off to Lake St. Clair, to go after muskie!

📸🎣More pics and video postcards from our recent trip to Ontario! 🎣📸

On Day 2, we traveled southwest from Lake Ontario 🇨🇦 to Lake Erie, and shifted our focus to walleye fishing. Launching from Turkey Point, we were greeted with absolutely beautiful weather, calm water, and a fantastic day of fishing.

Our Pro-Staffer, friend, and expert angler, Rob Jones ( ) showed us around his gorgeous home waters, and had us on the bite all day.

As anyone who's fished the Great Lakes knows, when the bite hits, the pace is thrilling. We all got a workout, as we hustled to manage multiple lines and keep track of rods popping off left and right.

We caught a bunch of walleye, a salmon or two, a rainbow, and a few other species.

We fished from dawn until sunset, and cruised home under a huge full moon. 🌕

There's something special about fishing from a kayak.

There's an immediacy, and a close connection to the water and wildlife that you can't quite get from a motorboat.

On a kayak, you can float right through shallow waters, hug the coastline, take full advantage of structure, and discover secluded spots no one else can reach. And you can do all of it silently-- free to enjoy nature and truly take in the experience.

We love fishing from a boat as well, but there really is something magical about being right on the waterline. The thrill of fighting fish so directly is especially exciting.

If you haven't tried it yet, we highly recommend it!

Scotty recently took a trip from our headquarters on Vancouver Island out to beautiful Ontario, for a fantastic few days of fishing on and around the Great Lakes with our amazing Pro-Staffer and good friend, Rob Jones. ( on Instagram ). We can't thank him enough for hauling us around, and sharing his astonishingly in-depth knowledge about local wildlife, fishing, and the community with us.

Under Rob's expert guidance, we spent 5 days going after salmon, walleye, and muskie on Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and Lake St. Clair, shooting a ton of photos and video along the way. We had an absolute blast!

Here's a sneak peak at Day 1 of our trip-- a wonderful day of salmon fishing on Lake Ontario, in the waters near Toronto.

We think we got some great material, and we're excited to share it with you guys!
We'll also have a few exciting announcements in the very near future that we think people will be stoked about!
