We know that understanding the right light level for your houseplants can be tricky, so we’ve broken it down for you!

‘Bright, Direct Light’: Unfiltered sun shining directly onto plants for 6+ hours a day (right in front of a south or west window). Plants ideas: Cacti, Jade Plant.

‘Bright, Indirect Light’: Light filtered by sheer curtains or set a couple of feet back from a sunny window. Plant ideas: Pothos, Calathea.

‘Low Light’: Natural light found in north-facing rooms or several feet away from any light source. Plant ideas: Snake Plant, ZZ Plant.
