Our Story

I love crocheting and I love hats so this seemed like the natural creative outlet for me. What I didn’t expect was that other people would love my hats too and the joy it would bring me to see people of all ages finding that one hat that fits them perfectly or that they’ve been looking for.

Often I’ll be crocheting while doing something else which is why I titled myself The Mad Hatters Crocheting Adventures. I am always incorporating crocheting in my adventures. Whether I’m stopping for a quick break on a hiking trail, floating down the Lesser Slave River in my kayak, traveling around the United Kingdom or just at home walking on the treadmill. I’m always on the move and there is likely yarn and a crochet hook close by.

Most of my inspiration comes from whatever show I’m binge watching at the time or whatever new colours of yarn I can find. There are always new styles and characters I want to make :)
